  15. save() was only implemented on a very few, now obsolete operating systems
  16. and CPU architectures.  Its presence in the red icon book is rather
  17. misleading, since it was never available for most platforms.  The best way
  18. to move executables is to compile them with iconc if you can; otherwise
  19. they need to move iconx onto the server, and either setenv ICONX to point
  20. to where iconx is installed or else run patchstr on the binaries to point
  21. them at the iconx.
